01/09/2010

Former Gloucestershire player, Steve Adshead is asking for your support.

Steve, who is currently playing for Derbyshire in the LV=CC match at the County Ground, Bristol has got involved with a charity project called “Cricket without Boundaries”.

Steve “Having been lucky enough to enjoy the life I have through cricket, I thought it was time to give a bit back and this is a great a charity.”

Through the charity project Steve will be travelling to Kenya in November to deliver a coach education and AIDS awareness programme. Whilst he is funding all costs himself he is raising money for the charity to continue to run this project. To raise funds Steve is running the Birmingham Half Marathon in October and with the kind support of Marston’s Brewery he is doing some coaching events and appearances.
