Gloucestershire Exiles
The Gloucestershire Exiles is a part-social, part fundraising organisation which is now almost forty years old and boasts a membership of several hundred Gloucestershire supporters from across the country and even around the world.
Originally conceived to bring together supporters from outside the county, the membership now includes many who live in Gloucestershire who wish to enjoy the benefits offered by the Exiles.

What do we do?
We produce our Exiles magazine, Outside-edge, which is published twice a year and sent to all of our members. Outside-edge keeps our members in touch with the club news through articles submitted by members and contributions from county players and other cricket lovers.
AGM
This year’s meeting will be on Thursday March 8th at 6.45pm at the Indoor School at Lord’s. Apart from the usual formalities there will be a presentation on the Club’s current financial position, following last year’s successful presentation from Vice Chair Roger Cooke, after which John Bracewell and Alex Gidman will talk to Exiles about their hopes for the season to come. A meal will be available afterwards for which pre-booking is required. Anyone wishing to do so should call Mark Brunt on 07802 773560. The meeting is open to anyone to attend, not solely current Exiles. It is a particularly sociable evening and newcomers are made very welcome.
Exiles Lunch
This ever-popular event, held in a private marquee, will take place at Cheltenham on Saturday July 14th during the Championship match against Essex. Each year well over 100 Exiles and guests gather at what is often referred to as the “Spiritual home” of the Exiles, with many Members travelling great distances to attend. We have even had one Exile come back from Australia! Members of the County Committee will be attending as will members of the playing staff. Tickets cost £30 and are available from Ian Herdman at 46 Conifer Crest, Wash Common, Newbury, Berks., RG14 6RT (please enclose a stamped addressed envelope) and on 01635 42284.
Lord’s Dinner
On February 9th., 2012, the Exiles will be holding another of their very popular dinners in the Committee Dining Room at Lord’s. Tickets are £95 each with all funds raised donated to the County. A top quality guest speaker will be announced during the season (previous years speakers have included David Collier and Giles Clarke), and tickets can be reserved via Jon Paine
