Gloucestershire Exiles
The Gloucestershire Exiles is a part-social, part fundraising organisation which is now almost forty years old and boasts a membership of several hundred Gloucestershire supporters from across the country and even around the world.
Originally conceived to bring together supporters from outside the county, the membership now includes many who live in Gloucestershire who wish to enjoy the benefits offered by the Exiles.

What do we do?
We produce our Exiles magazine, Outside-edge, which is published twice a year and sent to all of our members. Outside-edge keeps our members in touch with the club news through articles submitted by members and contributions from county players and other cricket lovers.
AGM
This year's meeting took place on in March at the Indoor School at Lord's, and a pleasant evening it was, too. The formalities were brief (fortunately!) after which Exiles were able to listen to talks from first Roger Cooke, the Club's Vice Chair, and then from Hamish Marshall and Owen Dawkins. Roger spoke of the improving financial position at Bristol, and the effect that this will hopefully have on the playing side, while Hamish and Owen talked of the playing prospects for the coming season, with particular reference to the development of the younger players through the Academy, the importance of which is shown by the fact that the 2013 playing squad now includes eight Academy graduates. After the presentations a meal was served and the Exiles were able to mix and mingle with our guests on a more informal basis. Next stop Cheltenham!
Exiles Lunch
Tickets are now on sale for the annual Exiles Lunch which this year take place in a private marquee on Saturday July 13th during the Cheltenham Festival. This will be the final day of the Championship match against Kent, potentially one of the key matches of the season. Well over 100 people attend this event each year and we advise everyone to book early. If you have never joined us before, we hope that you can do so this year. Once more, Exiles are welcome to invite guests. The ticket price is unchanged at £30 each and can be purchased by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Ian Herdman at: 46, Conifer Close, Wash Common, Newbury, Berks., RG14 6RT. If you need any further information on the event feel free to call Ian on 01635 42284.
