They organise fundraising activities throughout the season including Ground Raffles at most one day games and lunches with guest speakers. During the winter they’re also busy arranging the annual Christmas tree sale, Cider Tasting events and the ‘Triple Chance Draw’ – a chance to win cash prizes.

There are plenty of exciting fundraising opportunities to get involved with in this region including lots of events which take place during the Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival.

Covering the city of Gloucester, the 49ers Club is just one of the fundraising events organised by the Severn Region. For a donation of just £1.00 per week to the County Club you stand a chance of winning £25.00 every week.

This region is run by a committee of Gloucestershire cricket enthusiasts from the area who raise funds by arranging events including the Winter Quiz, Champagne Breakfasts, ground raffles and the exciting ‘Back-A-Player’ competition.

The Gloucestershire Exiles is a part-social, part fundraising organisation that has been running for over forty years and boasts a membership of several hundred Gloucestershire supporters from across the country and even around the world.

Gloucestershire Cricket Lovers’ Society run regular events at the Brightside Ground, Bristol from October through to April.  Historically, guest speakers have included a former England Cricket Captain and a BBC Radio Test Match Special Commentator.

Cheltenham Cricket Society 

The Society meets monthly from September to May at The Victory Club, Lypiatt Road.  Excellent speakers – cricketers, ex-cricketers, writers and commentators – including, in recent years, Mike Procter and Michael Holding.  Convivial atmosphere; bread, cheese and pickled onions; annual quiz; and a licenced bar.
