Born: Winchester, Hants. February 1983

Steve’s spell as an MCC Young Cricketer at Lord's took him to the World Cricket Academy in Mumbai and on tour with the MCC to Sri Lanka and the United States, whilst also enjoying other playing trips to Australia and South Africa.
Steve made his first class debut for Gloucestershire in 2005 against Bangladesh A, marking a good first appearance with scores of 83 not out and 42. His National League debut swiftly followed, ironically against the county of his birth, Hampshire.
