Role: Physiotherapist
An unsung member of the squad, Grifter (as affectionately known to the players) works tirelessly to ensure the boys are fighting fit and able to operate at the optimum level required for professional sport. As well as making sure the boys are in tip top condition, Grifter provides solid advice to all the squad about absolutely everything, organises the transport to games and performs a million other tasks.
Steve graduated from The University of London in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and he recently completed a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy. Previous experiences includes time spent working in Australia and New Zealand, predominately with winter sports, before returning to the UK and taking up the position with Gloucestershire.
