John Bracewell
Born: Auckland 15th April 1958
Role: Director of Cricket
John played in 41 Test Matches and 53 one day internationals for New Zealand, completing the double of 1,000 Test runs and 100 wickets.
He was appointed Gloucestershire coach in 1998 and led the club to unprecedented success, winning five one-day trophies in two seasons (1999 and 2000). He left to become New Zealand coach in 2003, a job he held until 2008.
John rejoined Gloucestershire in 2009 on a five-year contract as Director of Cricket, overseeing the playing side of the club from the youth set-up through to the first team.
