Born: Bristol, 27th September 1976.
Role: Right handed batsman, right arm off-break
Long regarded as one of the best fielders in the game by fellow players and commentators alike. Chris specialises in the hugely important backward point area and was an invaluable asset in the field during Gloucestershire's One Day triumphs.
His excellent performances in 2008, which saw him score 1076 championship runs at an average of 44, confirmed him as a key player for the club in all forms of the game. He has helped coach the players with their fielding since 2008 and has a similar role with the England Academy.
Made his Gloucestershire debut in 2000 and captained the club in 2004 and 2005.
