The Gloucestershire Academy Player of the month award is officially sponsored by the Jack Russell Gallery.
Jack Russell said: "It's very exciting to be involved with a group of young players and coaches with a desire and refreshing enthusiasm to succeed.
The pleasing thing for me is to see the commitment and hard work from all concerned. From Academy Director Owen Dawkins, the coaches and players, right through to the junior academy. If you have that as a foundation to achieve anything in life, then, in my opinion, you will always give yourself the best chance. After all, the sky's no limits, so who know's where you might get to. What can be more exciting than that?!"
The Jack Russell Gallery is situated on the high street in the picturesque market town of Chipping Sodbury in South Gloucestershire 12 miles north of Bristol.
The gallery houses the Jack Russell art collection, unique in its dedication to the work of one artist, with its high ceiling and flagstone floor creating an ambience rarely found in today’s modern buildings, the visitor can browse through at leisure, the original paintings, prints and memorabilia from Jack’s world tours both as an international cricketer and artist.
